Job summary

HealthEquity is seeking a senior software engineer to own authentication and identity services for member and employer platforms. You will lead end-to-end development of passkey-based sign-in, verification, and token architecture, in a security-focused, cloud-native environment.

You will work with TypeScript, Node.js, C# / .NET, and modern identity standards (OIDC, OAuth2, SAML, FIDO2, WebAuthn). This remote role supports collaboration across teams and time zones.

Qualifications

• Seven+ years of software engineering experience, including production systems.
• Deep, hands-on knowledge of OIDC, OAuth2, SAML, FIDO2 and WebAuthn.

Responsibilities

• Own design decisions for the customer identity stack including authentication and session management.
• Build services behind authentication end-to-end, including passkey registration and sign-in.
