EarnIn is seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer to shape the Identity & Trust platform across consumer and enterprise ecosystems. You will architect identity, authentication, authorization, privacy, and secure document processing while guiding multiple teams.

This role emphasizes security, reliability, and scalable patterns. You’ll lead architecture, drive multi-year strategy, and mentor engineers, while partnering with Product, Security, Risk, and Compliance to meet regulatory needs.

Qualifikationen

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with progression to Staff/Senior Staff leadership.
• Experience defining and executing technical strategy for large-scale distributed systems.
• Ability to lead architecture across multiple teams without direct authority.
• Hands-on experience with secure, highly available distributed backends.
• Deep expertise in identity, trust, security, privacy or regulated data systems.
• Understanding of authentication/authorization protocols (OAuth2, OpenID Connect, SAML).
• Experience with trust domains like KYC, fraud, PII tokenization, data vaults, secure processing.
• Experience with identity platforms (Okta, Auth0, Keycloak).
• Proficient in REST APIs, SQL/NoSQL, Kafka, Kubernetes, microservices.

• Lead initiatives spanning multiple services and teams.
• Build secure, resilient infrastructure and APIs.
• Evolve capabilities like OAuth, OpenID Connect, SAML, MFA and identity federation.
• Create reusable platform primitives and API standards for product teams.
• Drive reliability, observability, SLOs, incident response and DR.
• Advance AI-powered engineering with guardrails and evals.
• Mentor Staff and Senior engineers and raise architectural bar.
• Collaborate with Product, Security, Risk, Data Science, Design and Compliance.
