The role emphasizes deep expertise in BCD processes, yield optimization, and data-driven decision making, with responsibilities spanning DOE experiments, statistical analysis, and collaboration with external foundry partners.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in electrical engineering or related technical discipline.
• Strong knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes and IC fabrication.
• Experience with BCD process technologies, yield mechanisms, and device structures.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve silicon yield, reliability, and process issues.
• Interface with foundries to drive issue resolution and communicate about yield and process performance.
• Understand BCD process technologies and device characteristics.
• Design, execute, and analyze Design of Experiments to identify root causes and optimize yield.
• Perform statistical analysis of wafer fabrication, parametric and electrical test data to identify trends.
• Collaborate with design, product, test, reliability, and foundry teams to drive optimization.
• Evaluate process changes and technology enhancements for impact on performance and manufacturability.
• Develop technical reports, presentations, and data-driven recommendations.
• Drive continuous improvement to enhance quality and cost efficiency.
