Job summary

SiTime Corporation is seeking a senior Foundry Yield engineer to support the Foundry technical interface and drive yield improvements across fabrication sites. The role emphasizes coordination with foundries, process monitoring, and implementing continuous improvement strategies.

Applicants should have a strong background in semiconductor process integration, device reliability, DFM/PFMEA, and advanced data analysis.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Engineering or Physical Science with 13+ years of industry experience, or PhD with 10+ years.
• English proficiency required for communication in a professional business environment.
• Proven track record in yield Pareto construction, modeling, projection, and long-term yield roadmaps.
• Experience with PDFs Exensio or other Big Data Analysis tools.
• Extensive experience collaborating with foundries and porting between fabs.
• Expertise in interpreting complex product data (inline, e-test, SORT) to drive solutions.
• Strong knowledge of semiconductor wafer inline inspection methods, SORT programs, and device reliability.
• Familiarity with DFM techniques and PFMEA.
• Experience supporting semiconductor wafer fulfillment to meet Automotive AEC_Q100, ISO 26262.

Responsibilities

• Lead Foundry yield improvement and mitigate yield detractors.
• Manage yield excursions and implement Continuous Improvement Plans.
• Oversee Foundry safe launches and transfer projects.
• Guide process health monitoring and wafer-out timing with Foundries.
• Direct wafer lot progress, process skew splits, and DOE strategies during development.
• Support device performance analysis for mixed-signal devices.
• Ensure compliance with fab yield, E-test, WAT metrics.
• Utilize AI/ML predictive modeling to improve test chip projections (a plus).
• Serve as technical liaison to Foundries and communicate status to stakeholders.
