Job summary

AMD is seeking a hardware-focused Technical Program Manager to lead system-level programs across electrical, mechanical, power, thermal, and supply chain domains in Austin, TX or Secaucus, NJ. You will translate platform requirements into executable hardware programs with milestones and risks.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams, mentor other TPMs, and ensure manufacturability and production readiness while communicating status to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• Advanced degree (MS) in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.
• Formal project management education, PMP / Scrum Master.

Responsibilities

• Own system-level hardware program strategy and execution across feature delivery and lifecycle.
• Drive cross-functional alignment between Engineering, Product Management, Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain.
• Lead complex, multi-disciplinary system solutions across PCBAs, mechanical, power, thermals, OS, BIOS, validation, and test.
• Act as system-level integrator, coordinating hardware, firmware, and software architectures.
• Ensure designs meet manufacturability, reliability, serviceability, and scalability.
• Lead weekly program reviews and milestone checkpoints with global stakeholders.
• Identify risks and drive mitigations to minimize schedule impact.
• Mentor and influence other TPMs and technical leads.
