Boston Dynamics in Waltham, MA is seeking a Staff Hardware Test Engineer to join our Central Hardware Team. You will validate, qualify and help deliver cutting edge robotics designs alongside design engineers.

You will develop test strategies, write Python tooling, perform data analysis, build test fixtures, run DVT and compliance tests, and communicate results clearly to drive design improvements and quality.

This role requires up to 10% travel to off-site facilities.

Competenze

BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
5+ years of relevant experience.
Experience with NI LabVIEW, Python, and UNIX-like OS.
Experience with test automation.
Experience with communication interfaces: CAN, Ethernet, SPI, I2C.
Hands-on experience designing, building and debugging electro-mechanical test setups.
Experience with lab equipment including oscilloscopes, power supplies, programmable loads, thermal probes.
Experience with compliance testing including conducted/radiated emissions and safety.
