Job summary

Broadcom is seeking a Staff Hardware Engineer in California to own all aspects of EE hardware design, from BOM creation to validation and sustaining. You will lead cross-functional efforts with hardware, ASIC, signal, mechanical, thermal, packaging, and manufacturing teams.

The role emphasizes delivering high-quality products in a start-up–like environment and supporting cradle-to-grave lifecycle development, including customer trials and field issue resolution.

Qualifications

• Experience with large high-powered SOCs and advanced packaging.
• Experience with high-speed SerDes signaling.
• Ownership of end-to-end hardware design lifecycle across BOM, design, validation.

Responsibilities

• Own EE hardware design from BOM to validation and sustaining.
• Support customer trials, field issues, and product sustaining.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including Hardware, ASIC, Mechanical, Thermal, Packaging, and Manufacturing.
