Job summary

LVT is redefining intelligent site technology in the United States. We seek a Staff Fullstack Software Engineer to own architecture end-to-end across UI and backend services, driving performance and reliability at scale.

You will lead technical direction from React/Next.js frontends to Node/NestJS backends, GraphQL federation, and real-time data paths, mentoring engineers and shaping multi-quarter technical strategies.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional development experience using TypeScript on client and server
• Proven production experience leading non-trivial architectures in React and Next.js (App Router)
• Deep production experience designing Node.js backend services (NestJS preferred) and GraphQL ecosystems
• Experience with relational databases (MySQL) and real-time data flows (WebSocket)
• Security and infrastructure knowledge: OAuth/OIDC, JWT, ABAC/ReBAC; Docker and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong communication and leadership skills to align teams and stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical authority across the stack (UI, BFF, GraphQL APIs, backend data systems)
• Trace and resolve cross-service issues from front-end to back-end subgraphs
• Own health, evolution, and migration of GraphQL federation graph and data contracts
• Define and monitor meaningful SLOs, tracing, and dashboards for observability
• Mentor engineers across frontend and backend, leading cross-functional design discussions
• Identify and address organizational bottlenecks to improve CI/CD and code quality
