Job summary

LVT is hiring a Senior Backend Software Engineer to build scalable microservices and APIs powering our AI-driven site platform. You’ll work as an individual contributor among a focused team, designing, coding, and deploying production-grade backend systems with strong craftsmanship.

This onsite role is based at our American Fork, UT headquarters, offering opportunities to mentor peers, optimize performance, and stay ahead with modern cloud architectures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional backend software engineering experience shipping production-grade microservices and APIs.
• Strong Node.js and TypeScript development experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain high-velocity backend features and API endpoints.
• Optimize performance, latency, and database queries for scale.
• Collaborate with product, QA, and DevOps to deliver features on schedule.
• Maintain code quality with unit/integration tests and documentation.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to other engineers.
