Job summary

Intuit in Lincoln, Nebraska seeks a Staff Software Engineer - Fullstack for the Web and Mobile Developer Experience Platform. You will tackle complex problems, work in legacy code, and apply new ideas across Java, ReactUI, and AWS to enable seamless onboarding to the Intuit ecosystem.

You'll contribute hands-on coding (85–95%), collaborate with product, QA, and other teams, and drive quality through design reviews, testing, and agile practices to deliver robust, scalable software for developers

Qualifications

• Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience with Java/J2EE.
• Strong API development knowledge (REST/GraphQL, pagination, caching).
• Knowledge of mobile iOS/Android platforms.
• Experience with React UI or mobile development is preferred.
• Ability to balance multiple projects in parallel.
• Willingness to learn quickly and own features end-to-end.
• Experience with Agile Development, SCRUM, and/or XP.

Responsibilities

• Roughly 85-95% of hands-on coding.
• Contribute to early quality activities, including peer reviews.
• Resolve defects/bugs during QA, pre-production, production, and patches.
• Partner with team members to deliver against commitments.
• Work cross-functionally with multiple Intuit teams to drive results.
