Job summary

Intuit is seeking a Staff Software Engineer - Fullstack to join the Web and Mobile Developer Experience Platform in St. Louis. You will own substantial hands-on coding, shaping quality and velocity across web and mobile onboarding experiences.

You should be comfortable with legacy codebases, embracing new approaches, and applying a mix of Java, ReactUI and AWS. You’ll collaborate across product, QA, and engineering teams to deliver robust solutions for developers.

Qualifications

• Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience with object-oriented languages such as Java/J2EE.
• Strong knowledge of API development standards (REST/GraphQL).
• Experience with mobile IOS/Android platforms.
• Proven experience building highly usable UI applications with React or mobile experience preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in parallel.
• Eagerness to learn and grow.

Responsibilities

• Roughly 85-95% of hands-on coding
• Contribute to early quality activities including peer reviews
• Resolve defects during QA, pre-prod, production, and patches
• Collaborate with team members to meet commitments
• Work cross-functionally with product, QA/QE, and business units
• Promote team success and positive dynamics
• Grow and apply technical skills in service to customers
