Aurora is seeking a Staff Software Engineer for the Aurora Services team in a hybrid Pittsburgh-based role. You will architect scalable full-stack web services powering real-time and offline data flows for fleet optimization and autonomy improvement.

Lead multiple teams, mentor engineers, and drive complex projects from inception to completion. Requirements include 8+ years in software development, strong frontend/backend expertise, and proficiency with AWS, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Architect and drive strategic initiatives to build scalable full-stack web services.
• Provide technical leadership across multiple teams guiding design, development, and deployment.
• Develop and deploy robust, low-latency backend services, APIs, and data pipelines.
• Mentor and grow senior engineers, raising the technical bar.
• Partner with autonomy, cloud infra, and operations leads on roadmaps and priorities.
• Translate complex data into actionable insights via operator-facing tools and APIs.
