Rippling is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to lead the Agentic Talent platform, enabling people and AI agents to work together. You will design intuitive experiences, build secure, scalable systems, and mentor engineers while collaborating with Product and AI Platform leadership.

You’ll own architectural direction, drive high‑impact talent workflows, and help shape the team culture in a fast‑moving enterprise environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of full stack development experience.
• Proficiency with Python, Django, PostgreSQL, MongoDB.
• Experience with React on frontend.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and APIs.

Responsibilities

• Build scalable, high‑performance systems powering talent products.
• Move quickly with quality while ensuring reliability and maintainability.
• Lead architectural decisions across the product lifecycle.
• Own observability, reliability, and incident response.
• Collaborate with product, AI Platform engineers, and customers to shape roadmaps.
• Mentor engineers and raise technical standards across the team.
• Help shape team culture, direction, and workflows as an early member.
