Job summary

A Place for Mom is seeking a Staff Software Engineer – Full Stack to design, build, and scale an AI-enabled B2B platform. You will own features across React/TypeScript front ends, .NET services, and Python data pipelines, guiding architecture and technology choices for partners who rely on our system daily.

You will work with Grace on partner experiences, integrate agentic AI tooling, and ensure quality through testing and robust deployment pipelines while mentoring peers and shaping engineering

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with depth on both front-end and back-end
• Strong React/TypeScript front-end skills and design system use
• Proven experience building and operating APIs and data pipelines
• Proficiency in Python for data ingestion and automation
• Experience with AI-assisted and agentic development workflows using modern tooling
• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred) and data platforms like Databricks/Snowflake

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and continuously deploy features across the stack (React/TypeScript, .NET, data pipelines)
• Develop partner-facing experiences in Grace for referral management and analytics
• Integrate AI coding agents into daily workflows and build reliable agent tooling
• Apply LLMs to data extraction, classification, matching, and summarization with guardrails
• Collaborate on cloud-native service design and API development
• Champion quality engineering practices including testing and CI/CD
• Peer review code and define engineering best practices for AI tooling
• Mentor engineers and maintain up-to-date technical documentation
• Investigate and resolve production issues end-to-end
• Partner with product managers to ensure timely, high-quality deliverables
