Job summary

Polymarket in New York is seeking a Staff Full-Stack Engineer to define the technical strategy and long-term architecture for Mission Control, the backbone of how Polymarket operates. You will partner with leaders across the company to shape how our platform evolves to meet strategic goals.

Own Mission Control, design data models and extension points, and guide cross-team initiatives from concept through deployment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software development experience with leadership or architect roles.
• Expert in full-stack web apps, design, and scalable platform thinking.
• Strong written and verbal communication for executives and engineers.

Responsibilities

• Own and lead Mission Control; set the technical vision and roadmap for the platform.
• Design core abstractions, data models, and extension points for cross-team use.
• Architect markets automation at scale and drive high-stakes technical decisions.
• Mentor engineers, influence engineering culture, and collaborate with product and ops.
