Job summary

Polymarket in New York, NY is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to build, scale, and operate the platform that our exchange and product teams run on. This role focuses on Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, observability, and reliability to empower engineers to ship fast without breaking things.

You’ll be a core individual contributor collaborating with senior engineers to design, automate, and harden the infrastructure that powers Polymarket at scale.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of infra/DevOps experience at scale.
• Hands-on Kubernetes and Docker in production.
• Production-grade code in Go or Python.
• Experience with AWS or GCP and IAM, networking, storage.
• Infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Pulumi).

Responsibilities

• Own core infrastructure: Design, build, and operate the Kubernetes-based platform.
• Build for scale & reliability: Autoscaling, load balancing, DR, and multi-environment support.
• Automate everything: Write code to manage infrastructure as code and internal tooling.
• Strengthen CI/CD: Maintain fast, reliable deployment pipelines.
• Drive observability & incident response: Monitoring, logging, on-call, RCA.
• Manage cloud infrastructure: Optimize AWS/GCP footprint for cost and security.
