Job summary

Stripe's Dashboard Product team is hiring a Staff Frontend Engineer to elevate the Stripe Dashboard experiences for merchants. You’ll own frontend quality, mentor engineers, and collaborate with design and product to ship high-polish interfaces at scale.

You’ll prototype AI-powered ideas, help define frontend standards, and work with backend engineers to ensure smooth integration while maintaining visual precision and performance across merchant-facing surfaces.

Qualifications

• Staff-level role; 10+ years building and shipping complex, user-facing web apps at large scale.
• Deep expertise in modern frontend development with high visual precision.
• Experience improving UI consistency across large, distributed products.
• Experience collaborating with Design to translate design intent into production code.
• Ability to navigate a large codebase and keep high-traffic surfaces coherent.

Responsibilities

• Own the Stripe Dashboard frontend quality, visuals, and consistency for high-traffic pages.
• Identify opportunities to improve consistency, performance, and polish across the Dashboard.
• Partner with Design and Product on frontend feasibility, quality standards, and implementation.
