Job summary

Stripe is hiring a Staff Frontend Engineer for the Dashboard Product team. You will own frontend quality on high-traffic pages, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with designers to elevate the user experience across the Stripe Dashboard.

You will prototype AI-powered experiences and drive performance, accessibility, and consistency across surfaces, partnering with backend teams to ensure cohesive integration.

Qualifications

• 10+ years building large-scale, user-facing web applications.
• Experience collaborating with Design teams and translating design intent into production implementations.
• Proven ability to improve UI consistency and polish across large distributed products.

Responsibilities

• Own frontend quality, consistency, and visual craft of Dashboard pages.
• Improve performance, polish, and consistency across the Dashboard.
• Partner with Design and Product for frontend feasibility and implementation approaches.
• Contribute to and advocate for the Stripe design system across surfaces.
• Establish frontend quality standards and review patterns for junior engineers.
• Prototype AI-powered experiences for merchants to interact with Stripe products.
