Job summary

Stripe’s Dashboard Product team is seeking a Staff Frontend Engineer to drive UX excellence for the merchant dashboard. You will craft high-precision interfaces, mentor engineers, and explore AI-powered experiences that simplify complex tasks for merchants.

You’ll work with designers, product managers, and backend partners to ensure performance, accessibility, and a cohesive design language across the platform.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience shipping complex, user-facing web apps at large scale.
• Deep expertise in modern frontend development with strong UI quality.
• Proven track record improving UI consistency across large products.
• Ability to translate design intent into production-grade implementations.

Responsibilities

• Own frontend quality, visual craft and performance of high-traffic Dashboard surfaces.
• Identify opportunities to improve consistency, performance and polish.
• Partner with Design and Product to define frontend feasibility and standards.
• Contribute to and advocate for the Stripe design system across surfaces.
• Establish frontend standards, code-review patterns, and guidance for junior engineers.
• Prototype AI-powered experiences that enhance merchant interactions.
• Collaborate with backend engineers on integration while keeping frontend craft central.
