Job summary

Stripe is seeking a Staff Frontend Engineer for the Dashboard Product team. You will own frontend quality on high-traffic pages, collaborating with designers and backend engineers while mentoring junior engineers and exploring AI-powered experiences.

You will work in a hybrid setup with emphasis on UI polish, performance, and design system consistency across the Stripe Dashboard. Join a team committed to craft and excellence.

Qualifications

• Staff-level role requiring 10+ years building and shipping complex, user-facing web applications at large scale.
• Strong opinions on UI quality and the ability to execute with a high level of visual precision.
• Track record of improving UI consistency and polish across large, distributed products.
• Experience collaborating with Design teams and translating design intent into production code.
• Ability to navigate a large codebase and deliver cohesive frontend experiences.

Responsibilities

• Own the frontend quality, consistency, and visual craft of Stripe Dashboard's high-traffic pages.
• Identify opportunities to improve performance and polish across the Dashboard.
• Partner with Design and Product teams on frontend feasibility, quality standards, and implementation.
• Contribute to and advocate for the Stripe design system across surfaces.
• Establish frontend quality standards including patterns and code reviews.
