Intuit Inc. is seeking a Staff Fraud & Risk Analyst to own loss forecasting and reserves for an assigned portfolio, partnering across Risk, Finance, and Accounting. You will build durable forecasts, use AI to accelerate analysis, and influence business decisions with analysis partners can act on.

The ideal candidate combines quantitative precision with the fluency to work across Risk Policy, Risk Operations, Finance, and Accounting. Collaboration and timely, decision-ready insights are essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in risk analytics, credit or loss forecasting, or related quantitative role in financial services/fintech.
• Expertise in loss forecasting, reserves, and P&L dynamics, including attributing movements to volume, rate, mix, fraud, or collections.
• High quantitative rigor with a proven record of data-driven analysis.
• AI-first approach to analysis using AI tools while owning the recommendation.
• Advanced SQL; cloud data warehouse or lakehouse (Databricks, Hive, Snowflake); strong Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the independent Risk view of losses and reserves for an assigned portfolio, with cohorted and uncohorted views.
• Transform loss, reserve, and trend analysis into recommendations that protect and improve profitability.
• Monitor negative-balance and collections trends; translate risk into P&L implications for timely decisions.
• Partner with Finance and Accounting to establish a single, timely view of losses across Risk and partner teams.
• Design and maintain scalable forecasting and diagnostic capabilities for repeatable portfolio reviews.
• Lead attribution of material loss movements, quantify impact, and state Risk's outlook.
• Advise Risk Policy and Operations on the loss impact of initiatives.
• Investigate forecast misses and reserve variances; propose rate/process changes with a forward plan.
• Use SQL, Databricks, and AI to move from questions to recommendations quickly.
