Intuit Inc. is seeking a Staff Fraud & Risk Analyst in Mountain View to own loss forecasting, reserves, and related P&L analytics for an assigned portfolio.

You will build durable forecasts, use AI to accelerate work, and influence business decisions with cross-functional partners. The role requires strong quantitative skills, advanced SQL (Databricks), and experience partnering with Risk Policy, Risk Operations, Finance, and Accounting.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in risk analytics, credit or loss forecasting.
• Expertise in loss forecasting, reserves, and P&L dynamics and attribution.
• High quantitative rigor with dependable analyses for cross-functional partners.
• AI-first approach to analysis while owning the recommendation.
• Advanced SQL; cloud data warehouse or lakehouse experience (Databricks, Hive, Snowflake).
• Ability to partner with Finance, Accounting, and Risk stakeholders and defend recommendations.
• Clear written communication with concise decision-ready updates.

Responsibilities

• Own the independent Risk view of losses and reserves for an assigned portfolio.
• Convert loss, reserve, and trend analysis into actionable recommendations.
• Monitor negative-balance and collections trends and translate into P&L implications.
• Partner with Finance and Accounting through monthly close for a single view of losses.
• Design and maintain scalable forecasting and diagnostic capabilities.
• Lead attribution of material loss movements and incidents, quantify impact and outlook.
• Advise Risk Policy and Operations on the loss impact of initiatives.
• Investigate forecast misses and reserve variances; recommend changes with a path forward.
• Use SQL, Databricks, and AI to move from question to recommendation quickly.
• Escalate emerging risk promptly to keep partners informed.
