Job summary

Intuit’s Fintech Risk Analytics team seeks a Staff Fraud & Risk Analyst to own loss forecasting and reserves for an assigned portfolio. You’ll build durable forecasts, leverage AI to accelerate work, and influence decisions with analysis partners across Risk, Finance, and Accounting.

The ideal candidate combines quantitative precision with the ability to partner across Risk Policy, Risk Operations, and Finance to protect profitability and drive improvements in fraud, ATO, and large-loss

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in risk analytics, credit or loss forecasting, or related quantitative role.
• Expertise in loss forecasting, reserves, and P&L dynamics with attribution.
• AI-first approach to analysis and ability to defend recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Own the independent Risk view of losses and reserves for an assigned portfolio.
• Convert loss, reserve, and trend analysis into actionable recommendations for profitability.
• Monitor negative-balance and collections trends and translate risk into P&L implications.
• Partner with Finance and Accounting through monthly close to align views of losses.
• Design and maintain scalable forecasting and diagnostic capabilities for consistent portfolio reviews.
• Lead attribution of material loss movements and quantify impact and outlook.
• Advise Risk Policy and Operations on loss impact of initiatives.
• Investigate forecast misses and variance and recommend changes with a path forward.
• Use SQL, Databricks, and AI to move from question to recommendation quickly.
• Escalate emerging risk promptly so stakeholders are informed.
