Job summary

Extreme Networks, Inc. seeks a Staff Forward Deployed Engineer to lead complex customer engagements, owning solutions from discovery through deployment and production readiness.

You will work closely with customer engineering teams to design and implement agents, applications, and integrations using Extreme’s products and platforms, while ensuring reliability, performance, and security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field.
• 8+ years across software lifecycle including design and production operations.
• Experience with distributed, cloud-based or enterprise software systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery with customer teams and own architecture.
• Write production-quality software and build agents, apps, APIs, integrations, and tools.
• Ensure production readiness with testing, guardrails, security controls, and observability.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to engineering standards.
