You will apply first-principles engineering to ram-air circuits, liquid cooling, ECS/TMS fluid architecture, and related hardware for vehicle integration.

Qualifications

Clear understanding of thermodynamics and fluid dynamics applicable to aerospace systems.
Experience in sizing, networks and 1D modeling of fluid/thermal systems.
Demonstrated ability to design fluid and mechanical installations with maintainability in mind.

Responsibilities

Develop and mature aircraft fluid-system layouts for ram-air, liquid cooling, and ECS/TMS circuits.
Perform pressure-drop, flow-balance, pump sizing and thermal transport calculations.
Model fluid/thermal systems using Flowmaster, AMESim or equivalent tools.
Design brackets, mounts, and installation provisions with tolerance analysis.
Select pumps, valves, heat exchangers, and related hardware for installations.
Coordinate vehicle integration with structures, EWIS, and power systems.
Support qualification tests and MIL-STD-810 airworthiness activities.
