Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of related experience.
• Proficient technical writing, verbal communication, reasoning, and time management skills.
• Able to work independently or with minimal direction under senior staff.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and GIS.
• Physical requirement to lift 50 lbs and conduct field work outdoors.
• Ability to travel to work locations, sometimes overnight.
• Preferred: Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Independently conduct field investigations and assessments of soil, groundwater, surface water.
• Conduct basic construction observation, including quality control documentation.
• Oversee remedial system O&M and field pilot study demonstrations.
• Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of field activities and data evaluation.
• Apply academic training and use software to perform calculations and evaluation.
• Perform project environmental data reduction and summarization.
• Perform feasibility studies, remedial design, cost estimating, and permitting tasks.
• Assist with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and GIS tasks.
• Draft technical sections of project communications and reports.
• Assist with scope development and cost estimating for proposals.
• Adhere to health and safety protocols; demonstrate safety behaviors.
