Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology, or related field.
• 0 to 2 years of related experience.
• Proficient technical writing, verbal communication, reasoning, and time management skills.
• Able to work independently or with minimal direction under senior staff.
• Desire to learn and grow with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Familiar with environmental analytical testing and data reduction techniques for soil, water, and air.
• Strong problem-solving skills; able to work with sampling equipment in the field.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite software.
• Able to meet physical requirements and travel to locations that may require overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field investigations and assessments of soil, groundwater, surface water, etc.
• Support site characterization using field data and monitoring results.
• Perform basic construction observation, quality control documentation, and field testing.
• Prepare and maintain accurate documentation in the field and during data evaluation.
• Apply academic training and use software to perform calculations and evaluations.
• Draft technical sections of project communications and reports.
• Assist with development of technical scopes of work and cost estimating for proposals.
• Assist with collection, documentation, and organization of field data per plans.
• Follow health and safety protocols and demonstrate safety behaviors.
