Job summary

Haley & Aldrich is seeking an Assistant Project Manager, Civil or Environmental Engineer, to support a technical team on diverse projects in Bedford, NH. This full-time position offers growth in a collaborative environment and exposure to field and design activities.

Responsibilities include field tasks, reporting, cost estimating, scheduling, and preparing technical deliverables. Travel to sites may be required; strong communication and regulatory knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil and/or Environmental Engineering or related field.
• 6+ years of related experience.
• Professional Engineer registration or certification, as applicable.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 Suite and scheduling software; AutoCAD and Civil3D; Blue Beam.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; working knowledge of regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Split time among technical tasks: field assignments, reporting, and project management support.
• Align technical scopes with project objectives to deliver quality assignments.
• Demonstrate technical competence and knowledge of codes and professional standards.
• Some travel and extended field assignments may be required.
• Collaborate with project teams, field teams, and safety personnel to meet client goals, budget, schedule, and safety requirements.
• Assist the project management team with cost estimating, scheduling, subcontracting, resource allocation, planning, and financial management.
• Prepare and review written communications and technical deliverables.
• Engage with clients, subcontractors, and vendors.
