Job summary

Candidates should have a BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, 7+ years of experience, strong CAD skills (ProE/SolidWorks), and proven experience in mechanism design and manufacturability.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant work experience.
• Detail-oriented with multiple complex projects.
• Experience with mechanism design and manufacturability.

Responsibilities

• Designs, validates, and brings transfer switch products to market.
• Supports transfer switch products from concept through mass production.
• Specifies functional requirements; designs and tests components; assesses cost, reliability, and safety.
• Creates and reviews material and BOMs; collaborates with manufacturing partners.
• Uses CAD/CAE to model designs and produce engineering drawings.
