Job summary

Quince, a rapid-growth DTC retailer, seeks a senior frontend engineer to own end-to-end storefront design. You will collaborate with product, design, and data science to translate business goals into scalable engineering plans, drive frontend standards, and mentor the team.

You will work on high-traffic, customer-facing web surfaces, leveraging Next.js and modern web practices to deliver fast, reliable experiences at scale.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of full-stack web development experience.
• Strong expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript and React; SSR experience (Next.js) is a plus.
• Experience building highly reliable distributed web applications at scale.
• Proven ability to drive large technical initiatives end-to-end and mentor engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end technical design and delivery for major storefront initiatives from architecture through production.
• Collaborate with product, design, and data science to shape roadmaps and translate goals into scalable plans.
• Drive frontend standards across the storefront codebase including performance and observability.
• Identify and resolve systemic engineering gaps before incidents occur.
• Mentor senior engineers through design reviews and coaching; grow the team’s capabilities.
• Shape API design, frontend architecture, and experimentation frameworks.
• Coordinate with platform and infra teams to ensure reliable foundations.
