Job summary

Quince is hiring a senior frontend engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable storefront experiences across web and mobile using ReactJS and React Native. You will lead the creation of complex shopping flows, integrate with backend services, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.

You will mentor team members, drive frontend architecture and performance optimizations, and stay current with emerging technologies to improve the storefront platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5–8 years of professional experience building modern web and/or mobile applications.
• Strong expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript and either ReactJS or React Native.
• Experience building high-scale, consumer-facing web and mobile applications.
• Proficiency with HTML, CSS, and frontend fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, customer-facing storefront experiences across web (ReactJS) and mobile (React Native).
• Lead development of complex features powering the shopping experience including browsing, discovery, product pages, cart, and checkout.
• Architect frontend and mobile systems to support high traffic and large-scale ecommerce workloads.
• Collaborate with product, design, backend, and mobile teams to define requirements and implement scalable solutions.
• Integrate with backend services and APIs, partner with backend teams to deliver end-to-end experiences.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code with a focus on quality and performance.
• Debug and resolve performance, scalability, and stability issues across web and mobile.
• Drive frontend architecture, design systems, testing strategies, and performance optimization.
• Mentor engineers and raise the technical bar across the organization.
