Job summary

Western Alliance Bank is hiring a Staff Engineer I to own end‑to‑end Procure-to-Pay integrations, ensuring data integrity and system reliability across Oracle Fusion, Coupa, LevelPath, and ServiceNow. You will design scalable integration patterns, develop required artifacts, and lead cross‑functional teams to deliver compliant solutions.

The role emphasizes governance, performance optimization, and strong communication while collaborating with Architecture, Security, and Infrastructure teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related IT experience in app support, development, or networking.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Experience with banking regulatory and compliance obligations.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects.
• Experience with Azure DevOps across multiple projects.
• Strong governance and architectural compliance knowledge.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) integrations.
• Design reliability and recovery procedures for critical systems.
• Develop monitoring metrics and reference architecture diagrams.
• Ensure IT policy compliance and refine IT controls.
• Analyze and optimize P2P processes across vendor onboarding to reconciliation.
• Create system requirements, data mappings, and user stories with acceptance criteria.
• Define enterprise integration patterns for procurement tech.
• Configure APIs, web services, and integration endpoints.
• Maintain data quality, integrity, and governance across interfaces.
• Implement monitoring, observability, and alerting for integrations.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Security, Infra, and AppDev teams.
