Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Boise, Idaho, seeks a Staff Engineer to join the Global IE team supporting budgeting, capacity planning, and space optimization for TD and IT P.

The role partners with Engineering, Procurement, Finance and TD leaders to deliver data-driven forecasts and cross-functional decisions. You will apply industrial engineering, data analytics, and AI-enabled methods to build forecasts, run scenarios, and drive continuous improvement, while coordinating complex cross-functional

Qualifications

• BS in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Budget Engineering, or POM with 3+ years of relevant industry experience
• Advanced understanding of fab planning, area tool configurations, manufacturing science (capacity planning, theory of constraints), budget management, and optimization
• Basic understanding of SQL and AI to improve output (presentations or technical analysis)
• Proven communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present complex analyses clearly and concisely

Responsibilities

• Lead capacity, space, and capital planning activities, building forecasts and budgets and guiding cross-functional teams
• Manage cross-functional projects, tracking milestones and optimizing resources
• Apply data analytics and AI-enabled solutions to forecast scenarios and drive data-informed decisions
• Collaborate with Engineering, Procurement, Finance, and TD leaders to align on budget and space objectives
