Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Boise, ID, seeks a Senior Engineer for Front-End Expansion Planning to optimize inventory and production alignment across TD and HVM. You will analyze line performance and drive weekly wafer-out commitments with cross-functional teams.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in mechatronics, mechanical, industrial or manufacturing engineering and 2 years of related experience, with up to 10% travel and strong inventory control knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related engineering field with 2 years of related experience in inventory control or manufacturing optimization.
• Experience applying line management and inventory control concepts to large-scale manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain site Inventory Metrics, processes, and reports.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Engineering, Production and TD to optimize inventory control mechanisms.
• Track and integrate cycle time objectives to meet wafer-out commitments.
• Identify and drive initiatives to improve inventory accuracy, efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
