Job summary

Micron Technology is seeking an Industrial Engineer to support US expansion planning in Boise, Idaho. You will analyze capital impacts of manufacturing changes, build data-driven tools, and partner across supply chain, finance, engineering and R&D to drive capacity and cost savings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Industrial Engineering required.
• 2–4 years semiconductor capacity planning experience preferred.
• 2+ years of Python and SQL for visualization/reporting in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with partners to drive tool and process roadmaps and calculate network capacity impacts.
• Conduct financial analyses before capital equipment purchases and optimize metrics.
• Model site tool utilization and capacity to optimize deployed capital.
• Design, track and present capital change proposals to senior leaders using Power BI/Tableau.
• Lead capacity optimization studies for equipment bases and process improvements.
• Develop tools to audit capital efficiency and identify cost reduction opportunities.
