Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. in Boise, Idaho, is seeking a Staff Engineer for TPG IE Budgeting to support the Global IE budget for Innovation, Technology, & Products (ITP).

You will collaborate with Engineering, Procurement, Finance, and IT leaders to align budget, space, and capacity with TD objectives. The role focuses on capital planning, forecasting, and applying data analytics and AI-enabled tools to improve decision making across TD projects.

Qualifications

• BS in Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering or Budget Engineering with 3+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Advanced understanding of fab planning, area tool configurations, manufacturing science, budget management, and optimization.
• Basic understanding of SQL and AI to improve output.
• Proven communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure budget, space, and capacity enables TD.
• Lead capacity, space, and capital planning, building forecasts, budgets, analyses, and recommendations.
• Manage complex, cross-functional projects with timelines and milestones.
• Apply analytical methods and AI-enabled solutions to improve forecasting and decision making.
