Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. seeks a Staff Engineer to lead validation strategy for enterprise SSD firmware and architect next-generation test frameworks. You will drive AI/ML-powered validation and own end-to-end verification of complex NVMe front-end features across multiple product lines.

You will mentor engineers, shape the test infrastructure roadmap, and influence firmware architecture decisions through deep validation insights. Work spans simulation, FPGA, and prototype hardware environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/EE or related field with 8+ years of experience or higher degrees with years of experience.
• Expert-level Python with NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn and production automation frameworks.
• Strong experience applying ML models to validation, and leading technical initiatives with clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead firmware verification strategies for NVMe front-end features across product lines.
• Architect scalable test frameworks (grey/white/black box) and CI/CD test infra.
• Drive root-cause analysis, mentor engineers, and present findings to leadership.
• Collaborate with firmware architects, product managers, and customers to define testability requirements.
