Job summary

Micron Technology is seeking a Staff Engineer to lead validation strategy for enterprise SSD firmware. You will architect next‑generation test frameworks, drive AI/ML‑powered validation, and own end‑to‑end verification of complex NVMe front‑end features across multiple product lines.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Proven expertise in Python and ML‑driven validation.
Experience with firmware validation and test architecture.
Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

Lead firmware verification strategies for NVMe front‑end features across product lines.
Architect scalable test frameworks and CI/CD integration for firmware quality.
Drive root‑cause analysis for field/regression failures and establish debugging methodologies.
Own the test infrastructure roadmap and influence tooling decisions at department level.
Design and deploy AI/ML solutions for test optimization and anomaly detection.
Lead code reviews and define test coverage standards.
Present findings and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
