Job summary

Replit is seeking a Staff Software Engineer for the Money team to shape Agentic Ads, an emerging area focused on AI-driven customer acquisition for businesses built on Replit.

You will own architecture, lead delivery across teams, mentor engineers, and translate ambitious goals into incremental customer value while collaborating with product, design, and data, ensuring reliability and measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Staff-level technical leadership on complex customer-facing products or platforms across multiple teams.
• Experience building and operating third-party integrations under duplicate requests, rate limits, and changing schemas.
• Product-minded approach to simplifying complex workflows for non-experts with hands-on ownership from prototype to production.
• Ability to align cross-functional teams, explain trade-offs, mentor engineers, and drive execution without formal authority.
• Practical experience shipping LLM-powered products or agentic workflows, including tool use, orchestration, evaluations, and safeguards.
• Strong data and measurement judgment: instrumentation, experiments, and reasoning under uncertainty.
• Sound judgment around systems acting on behalf of users, including auth, approvals, and safeguarding actions.
• Strong hands-on software engineering and system design across APIs, data modeling, distributed systems, and user-facing experiences.
• Experience building advertiser-facing products, marketing automation, campaign-management tools, or growth platforms.
• Experience integrating advertising APIs; familiarity with onboarding, lifecycles, and platform requirements.
• Experience with experimentation, incrementality, and constrained optimization.

Responsibilities

• Lead ambiguous initiatives across product, design, data, security, and partnerships.
