Job summary

Replit is seeking a Staff Software Engineer on the Money team to set technical direction for agentic commerce, expanding purchasing experiences and merchant integrations within the platform. You will lead architecture, mentor engineers, and partner across teams to deliver enterprise-ready purchasing workflows.

You will stay hands-on with design and code while shaping technical roadmaps, ensuring secure, scalable, and reliable agent‑driven transactions from intent to fulfillment.

Qualifications

• Track record of staff-level technical leadership on complex customer-facing platforms.
• Strong hands-on engineering and system design skills (APIs, data models).
• Experience with extensible third‑party integrations and asynchronous events.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end purchasing experiences via Replit Agent.
• Design agent-facing APIs and tools with secure credentials and clear contracts.
• Mentor engineers and drive cross-team architectural delivery.
