In this role, you will be part of the team that develops automated test systems for Rivian’s electronic control units (ECUs) including Level 3+ ADAS, telematics, infotainment, battery management, and vehicle control systems. Our team’s solutions include internal-facing software, low-level firmware, data management platforms, and custom electromechanical hardware. These solutions get deployed internally within Rivian, at contract manufacturing facilities, and at our factory in Normal.
You will be an individual contributor with a multi-disciplinary role leading the implementation of vertical test solutions for ECUs for design characterization, validation, and manufacturing. The primary responsibility of this role is to own the technical aspects of one or more test automation projects, from requirements gathering to successful deployment and maintenance.
● BS/MS or equivalent work experience in Electrical Engineering or related field
● 7+ years of experience in electronics characterization and validation testing
● Hands-on experience in design verification and validation testing
● Experience using lab instrumentation like oscilloscopes, power supplies, electronic loads, digital multimeters, etc.
● Experience using thermal chambers and vibration tables
● Experience in data analysis and report generation using Python
Nice to Have
● Experience using SQL
● Experience in Databricks or similar environment
● Experience with automated test equipment
