As a hardware and silicon validation senior staff engineer at Marvell, you'll be helping to deliver high bandwidth over long distances. This team performs analog validations on amplifiers that drive optical electronic devices and receivers. We also validate silicon photonics, do upper electronic measurements and support the coherent digital signal programming unit. This is a niche area at Marvell, working with cutting edge technologies used by many internal and external customers around the world.

What You Can Expect
  • Develop silicon validation plan based on product design specifications and industrial standards.
  • Conduct post silicon system bring up and function validations, performance study and SERDES electrical characterization.
  • Implement automation script for DUT and test equipment including traffic generator, PCIe protocol exerciser and analyzer, scope, temperature chamber, etc.
  • Work with cross functional team to root cause and resolve issues found during post silicon validation.
  • Deliver customer friendly validation report with descriptions on test setup, test procedures and test results.
What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related fields and 5+ years of related professional experience OR Master's degree and/or PhD in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related fields with 3+ years of experience.
  • Good understanding of PCIe specification in physical layer, data link layer and transaction layer.
  • Working experience with PCIe system level testing, electrical or protocol compliance testing, retimer testing is a plus.
  • Working experience with Linux and Windows OS and cross platform compatibility.
  • Knowledge of computer systems, ethernet protocol, physical devices, and DSP is a plus.
  • Must be willing to work in a multi-tasking, fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Strong programming skills in C/C++/Python. Able to write modular, maintainable, and reusable code.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
Compensation and Benefits

Expected Base Pay Range (USD): $121,840 - $182,500 per annum. The actual starting salary will depend on skills, experience, qualifications, location, and market conditions. This range may be adjusted based on market factors.

Additional Compensation and Benefits: We offer a comprehensive package including base salary, bonus, equity, health and financial wellbeing programs, flexible time off, 401k, year-end shutdown, floating holidays, and paid volunteer time.
