Crusoe Energy Systems seeks a Staff Electrical Engineer to lead design, construction, commissioning and long-term operation of power plant facilities across the USA. You will serve as the SME for power generation assets, bridging front-end design and field execution.

The role requires 6+ years in industrial electrical engineering, a PE license in TX or CO, and experience with microgrid controllers and power modeling tools. Travel ~20% and collaboration with operations are expected.

Qualificações

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering required.
• 6+ years in industrial electrical engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in TX or CO.
• Experience with microgrid controllers and utility-scale interconnects.
• Experience with power modeling software ETAP or SKM.

Responsabilidades

• Lead front-end engineering for capital projects including layout and sizing of power systems.
• Review wiring diagrams, schematics and electrical studies to meet design specs.
• Provide technical guidance during construction and commissioning of power plant assets.
• Troubleshoot electrical failures with Field Operations; perform root-cause analysis.
• Specify and integrate MV/LV switchgear, GIS, GSU transformers and MCCs.
• Apply IEC 61850 standards, GOOSE and MMS protocols; perform protection & control studies.
• Support QA/QC reviews of vendor drawings and deliverables.
