Job summary

Crusoe is seeking a Staff Electrical Engineer to join our Power Systems organization. This role leads capital-project front-end engineering, designs power systems, and ensures commissioning success across USA facilities.

You’ll bridge front-end design with field execution and influence critical protection and control strategies. Ideal candidates have 6+ years in industrial electrical engineering, NEC expertise, and hands-on experience with IEC 61850, GOOSE/MMS, and high/medium voltage equipment.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or higher.
Minimum 6+ years in industrial electrical engineering.
Strong NEC application knowledge for industrial installations.

Responsibilities

Lead front-end engineering for capital projects including power system layout.
Oversee QA/QC, review vendor drawings and conformance with schematics.
Provide technical guidance during construction and commissioning of assets.
Troubleshoot electrical issues with Field Operations and optimize infrastructure.
Specify and integrate 34.5 kV GIS, GSU transformers, MV/LV MCCs.
