Job summary

Crusoe Energy Systems LLC in Colorado is seeking an Application Engineer III to bridge estimating, customer, and design teams for power, control, and modular building solutions. You will define scopes, generate preliminary designs, and support cost proposals with a hands-on engineering perspective.

The role requires a BS in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, 3+ years in a manufacturing or project environment, and knowledge of NEC and low/medium voltage distribution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Define electrical scopes of work with customers and estimating team.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates and technical proposals.
• Create initial electrical design documents (one-line diagrams, control schematics, BOMs).
• Review vendor bid packages and submittals for accuracy and cost-effectiveness.
• Size electrical components per codes and project guidelines.
• Collaborate with Estimating, PM, and Design Engineering teams to transition from proposal to design.
