Job summary

You will mentor junior engineers, develop test procedures, and oversee environmental, EMI/EMC tests, ensuring data integrity and reproducible results across complex circuits.

The role emphasizes hands-on lab work, automation, and a path to shaping next-generation quantum hardware.

Qualifications

• BSEE/MSEE degree with leadership experience testing precision instruments.
• Comfortable working in a laboratory environment.
• Ability to create new test plans and procedures for novel instrumentation.
• Proficient in post-test data analysis and documenting procedures.
• Experience devising testing protocols for precision instruments.

Responsibilities

• Be a team leader for a growing group testing and debugging complex electronic circuits.
• Collaborate with physicists, electrical, mechanical, software, and optical engineers to develop test procedures for next-generation quantum instruments.
• Define equipment and software to create automated data systems for production systems.
• Create test plans for environmental, EMI and EMC testing and oversee execution at external facilities.
