Job summary

EVONA is seeking an experienced Staff-level Electrical Engineer to own hardware from concept through production for satellites, spacecraft, and aerospace systems. You will drive high-speed digital, RF and power electronics, complex board-level designs, and robust verification in a hands-on role.

You will lead hardware architecture, component selection, and detailed PCB layout in Altium, performing SI/PI analysis and worst-case reviews.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of board-level electronics design, analysis and test experience.
• BS or higher in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience designing high-reliability space or defense electronics.
• Proven ownership of complex hardware from architecture through production.
• Strong PCB layout/manufacturing knowledge, including HDI stackups and IPC standards.
• Experience with signal and/or power integrity simulation using tools such as Ansys SIwave, ADS SIPro or Mentor HyperLynx.
• Extensive hands-on lab experience with hardware bring-up and verification.
• Experience with worst-case analysis, thermal constraints and part derating.
• Strong communication and cross-functional engineering skills.
• Experience leading hardware teams, developing multi-module assemblies, or designing electronics for space radiation environments is highly desirable.
