We are working with an exciting Space client and they ate looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the development of spacecraft electronics hardware from concept through flight delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design analog, digital, mixed-signal, and power electronics for spacecraft applications
• Own schematic capture, PCB architecture, bring-up, testing, and validation
• Develop high-reliability multi-layer PCB designs
• Support FPGA-based systems integration
• Conduct design reviews, trade studies, and hardware troubleshooting
• Work closely with systems, software, mechanical, thermal, and propulsion teams
• Support qualification, environmental testing, and flight hardware delivery

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
• 7+ years of aerospace, space, or high-reliability electronics experience
• Strong experience with Altium, Cadence, or similar ECAD tools
• Background in analog, digital, mixed-signal, and power electronics design
• Experience with FPGA-based systems and embedded communication interfaces
• Strong PCB design, integration, and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced development environment

Desirable (not essential)

• Spacecraft avionics or propulsion electronics experience
• DC-DC converter and power distribution design
• EMI/EMC, vibration, and thermal-vacuum test experience
• Radiation-tolerant electronics knowledge
• Experience supporting defense or national security programs
