Job summary

Demandbase, Inc. is seeking a Staff DevOps Engineer to define the technical direction for the Developer Experience platform.

You will shape multi-quarter platform strategy across build, test, deploy, and operate stages for services and data pipelines on AWS and GCP, becoming the go-to expert for platform decisions with broad impact. You will act as a force multiplier by abstracting infrastructure complexity, driving self-service adoption, and embedding reliability, security, and observability.

Qualifications

• Experience defining platform strategy across multiple teams.
• Ability to review architecture and RFCs.
• Experience mentoring senior and staff engineers.
• Strong incident management and reliability focus.

Responsibilities

• Set the Internal Developer Platform roadmap and architecture.
• Review RFCs and act as architecture reviewer for infrastructure-impacting changes.
• Lead high-severity production incidents and drive structural fixes.
• Mentor senior and staff engineers across teams.
