Job summary

Demandbase is seeking a Staff DevOps Engineer on the Developer Experience (DevEx) team to set the technical direction for the platforms, tooling, and workflows that every engineering team at Demandbase depends on to ship reliably to production.

This is not a single-team execution role—you will define multi-quarter platform strategy across build, test, deploy, and operate stages for services and data pipelines running on AWS and GCP, and you’ll be the person other senior and staff engineers

Qualifications

10+ years of engineering experience with hands-on software development and cloud infra.
Proven leadership across multiple teams, RFCs and platform strategy.
Deep experience designing multi-account, multi-cluster Kubernetes (EKS/GKE) in production.
Strong IaC and GitOps practices used at scale.
Experience with observability platforms and cost-aware engineering.

Responsibilities

Set and drive platform roadmap for Internal Developer Platform (IDP) across build, test, deploy and run stages.
Own CI/CD orchestration architecture supporting high release velocity with security guardrails.
Define and evolve multi-cluster Kubernetes, IAM, networking and security at fleet scale.
Mentor senior engineers and drive cross-team platform initiatives.
